Catalyst Appoints Andrew Graham as Director – Compliance & Internal Governance

The Catalyst Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Andrew Graham as Director – Compliance and Internal Governance. Andrew joins Catalyst from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), where he served as Deputy Head of the Investments Supervision Division for the past 3 years.

Having joined Catalyst, he will be responsible for ensuring that the Group’s fund administration and accounting services, which now span 5 jurisdictions globally, accounting for over 100 clients, 170 funds and $9bn in Assets under Administration, are delivered in accordance with a robust and consistent compliance, regulatory and governance framework.

Andrew began his career with CIMA in 2003 as an analyst for the division and over the course of the following years he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience within the Investments and Securities field. In 2010 he was responsible for the outputs of each of the division’s functional units, including leading the team responsible for regulated entities and leading the on-site inspections for Mutual Fund Administration licensees both locally and abroad.

In his most recent post, he oversaw the implementation of the registration of private funds and participated in the 2021 National Risk Assessment for the jurisdiction, which is due to be released in 2022.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Cum Laude) from the University of Georgia. He has also gained a certification as an accredited Director through The Chartered Governance Institute of Canada, and he recently completed the Leadership Accelerator Program through Crestcom International, LLC.

With his extensive background and knowledge of the industry, established over the course of a decade and half with the Cayman Islands’ chief financial regulatory authority, Andrew is an extremely valuable asset to the Catalyst team.

Andrew joins a select group of experienced and high calibre new appointments to Catalyst’s senior management team that includes Rossana de Maio, Janine Brown and Stuart Wright.
