Scott Price is a founding partner, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Governance Officer for the Group.

• Scott oversees the Legal, Compliance and Governance functions for Catalyst’s operations globally.
• As the Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors for Catalyst’s holding company and the licensed entities, Scott is responsible for the alignment and management of the group’s boards in support of their overarching strategic and oversight activities.

 Background:

Scott began his career at TMF Custom House Global Fund Services, Chicago in the Alternative Funds division. Here, he rose to various positions over the course of 9 years, where he served as Regional Director, Head of Sales (Americas) and sat as a Board Member of the holding company.

Prior to Catalyst, Scott joined The Maitland Group as Head of Business Development and Client Management for the North American region. He was later promoted to Head of Hedge and Private Equity Fund Services,  overseeing the global operations for the alternative fund services division.

Scott has 20+ years of experience advising clients in the Alternative Funds industry, spearheading technology and product development initiatives and leading change management programs.

Originally from East London, he graduated from London Metropolitan University in 2001. He moved to Glencoe, Illinois, which fostered his relationship with the US Alternative fund industry.

Scott is the embodiment of a friendly face, with a highly contagious positive attitude and a door-always-open-approach. In his spare time, he can be found walking Lucy, in an early morning HIIT classes.
