Matthew Surman is one of Catalyst’s founding employees and Managing Director of the Technology and Product Solutions team. He provides oversight for the implementation of the businesses’ technology platform and processes, as well as combining proprietary and best-in-class vendor software, customized and integrated to create a robust solution based on security, efficiency and reliability.

Background: 

Matthew joined Catalyst from MUFG Investor Services, where he held a number of roles, including Head of Strategic Programs and Head of PMO.

Prior to MUFG, Matt spent 15 years across financial and legal sectors, including 6 years in London, supporting complex IT environments at F&C, Mellon & Standard Chartered Bank.

Matt has 20+ years of IT and program management experience, engaging and leading project teams at strategic and operational levels to identify, define, and prioritize programs and portfolios of work.

Matt holds citizenship in the UK and Canada.
