Role:  Linda is a member of Catalyst’s senior management team and is responsible for leading the firm’s Employee Experience (HR) operations on a global basis, driving and collaborating on projects relating to performance management, culture, training and development and resourcing.

Background:

• Linda joins Catalyst from the Healthcare industry where she served as Global HR Director. Previously, Linda worked in Financial Services and the Environmental Sector and brings with her almost two decades of experience.
• In previous roles she has been responsible for creating strategies, frameworks, methodologies, and processes to drive culture, inclusion, talent, and performance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Linda has deep knowledge and experience in Human Resources, Transformation, Talent Management, Leadership, Strategic Human Resources and Organizational Development.

Credentials:

• Linda graduated with a Masters of degree in Leadership from Concordia University Portland, an Honours degree in Development Studies from the University of South Africa and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pretoria.

Personal:

• Linda is a mother to an almost 9-year-old daughter who keeps her and her husband occupied with her long list of interests and activities.  When they are not next to a pool, sports field or in an audience watching her perform, you will find her (with their beloved dogs) on the beautiful mountains around Cape Town, in the ocean, or on one of the many beaches close to home.  Linda and her family love travelling, hiking, and exploring the African Wilderness.
• She loves to cycle, hike, run and swim, and used to represent South Africa in Underwater Hockey (yes, that’s a real sport) which allowed her to compete in Australia and the UK on several occasions. Linda has also served as a volunteer wildfire fighter during the fire season in Cape Town.
