Jon Hugill is Chief Operating Officer – Fund Administration at The Catalyst Group, responsible for leading the firm’s global fund operations across its network of international offices. In this role, Jon is focused on operational excellence, technology-enabled service delivery, and the continued development of Catalyst’s proprietary platform and automation capabilities. He works closely with the executive team to support the firm’s growth ambitions while maintaining its commitment to high-touch client service.

Background:

Jon joins Catalyst with more than two decades of experience across fund administration, operations, product, and technology.

He most recently served as Global Head of Operations at Apex Group, where he was responsible for overseeing global operational delivery and product development across open-ended fund solutions.

Prior to Apex, Jon spent over 15 years at Maitland – subsequently acquired by Apex – including three years as Managing Director, Fund Services, where he played a central role in the firm’s operational and technological transformation.

Jon brings a combination of operational depth, product thinking, and technical expertise developed across large-scale global environments, with a track record of scaling platforms, teams, and client experience in parallel.
