The third pillar is an entity that provides accounting services to ultra high-net worth private clients, who mainly structure their assets through corporate, trust or fund structures. Catalyst Accounting also provides financial statement preparation and compilation services to all types of investment vehicles.

Target clients:

  • Ultra-high net-worth private clients with investments structured through Private Investment Companies (PIC's) or International Business Companies (IBC's)
  • Single and Multi Family Offices servicing ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Global Private Banks servicing ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Law firms servicing ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Institutional and Retail Fund Managers
  • Other specialized structures (such as securitization SPVs, debt issuance vehicles, structured finance offerings)

Accounting Services:

  • Accounting services and bookkeeping for private investment vehicles, including tax reporting to central banks for jurisdictions - such as 'Declaração de Capitais Brasileiros no Exterior' (DCBE)
  • Preparation of annual, quarterly, and/or monthly un/audited financial statements for all types of investment vehicles
  • Support workings in conformity with the relevant accounting standards including U.S. GAAP, IFRS and other variations
  • Completion of Fund Annual Return (for Cayman based structures)
  • Any additional ad hoc accounting requests

C Suite Services:

  • Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Develop and maintain financial budgeting reports including profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division and cash flow by division.
  • Review and analyze financial results and provide recommendations.
  • Participate in weekly conference calls.
  • Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations
  • Supervise accounting team to ensure proper reporting.
  • Review and ensure application of appropriate controls and procedures.
  • Oversee period-end close process, reviewing procedures eliminating inefficiencies.
  • Oversee the preparation and communication of financial statements.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for appropriate parties.
  • Enhance financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and controls.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
  • Manage preparation and support of all external audits.
  • Financial & Cash Management
  • Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
  • Oversee cash management and AP Department.
  • Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance relating to the collection process.
  • Maintain banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and partners.
  • Financial Relations and Policies
  • Represent company to banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, auditors, and other parties as requested.
