Based in The Catalyst Group’s Rio de Janeiro office, Rossana is the Managing Director of Fund Administration and is responsible for further developing and running the firm’s global fund services operations that spans 5 jurisdictions and accounts for over 150 clients and $8bn in AUM.

Background:

Prior to joining Catalyst, Rossana worked for PwC in Uruguay, auditing market-leading companies. She then went on to work for the Bahia Group for 18 years, where she served as Head of Operations and Compliance, and more recently as Partner for the firm. She then served  4-years with Uruguay ‘Free Zone’ companies that were investing in Brazilian and Offshore markets.

Rossana is a highly experienced operational and regulatory professional with extensive knowledge of the global asset management and investment funds markets across Brazil, the US, the Cayman Islands and Europe.

Rossana is not only an ESG fundamentalist,  but is passionate about empowering women in the industry. In 2020, she became a member of 100 Women in Finance, where her role involved building a more diverse and gender equitable finance industry by promoting diversity of thought and empowering women to find their personal path to success.

Rossana is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay, 2000.
  • Post-graduate degree in Administration, 2003.
  • MBA (ABD), Universidad Católica del Uruguay – Montevideo.
